The focus of this two-hour structured session is "speed" and "form", i.e. capturing the essence of a subject. You will be guided how to do a quick sketch of a landscape capturing multiple elements that your painting will hold. You will be working on loose drawing to freely capture as much as you see while keeping the paper/ canvas light from any led. Learn to apply the layers in a color blocking format to faster execute your piece. Meet other local artist of all levels sharing this learning moment of exploring technique and concept of landscapes.

Welcome to "Drawing Plants and Flowers"! In this workshop, we will explore the art of drawing plants and flowers.
Our experienced instructors will guide you through the process of drawing various plants and flowers in an impressionistic style. We will cover topics such as simplifying shapes, creating texture and detail, and layering paint with brushstrokes and using colors to enhance your drawings.
You will have the opportunity to put your new skills into practice and create your own beautiful plant and flower drawings. Our instructors will provide feedback and guidance along the way, helping you to refine your skills and develop your own unique style.
In this session you will learn the basics in drawing a flower using shapes and guidelines to create your composition. After the instructor goes over the basics in drawing then comes the pastel part. Following the instructors steps you will learn how to transfer your sketch ,how pastels work, how to layer and play around with visual textures.

Ghosts in the Garden

This session will focus on a beautiful composition of 3 friendly ghosts. Along with the instructor you will learn how to draw them using shapes and other guidelines to create your image.
During the painting process learn how to use a wash to your advantage, preserving the color to help you with tones and layering. Using an impressionistic take for the garden you will be able to complete a filled bush in the foreground using your preferred colors for flowers.
